Yennes Medical Physics Services (YMPS) Inc. owns the yennes.net, scatterworks.com and scatterworks.net websites and the sub-domain pages. From here on.. the terms we, us, ours, company YMPS refers to Yennes Medical Physics Services Inc.
The privacy of our users and their data has always been of utmost importance to YMPS. Please read the privacy notice of YMPS pages for more information.

YMPS reserves the right change this terms and conditions of use at any time so please visit this page frequently. In accessing these pages, you agree and are bound to these terms and conditions. The contents of YMPS pages are copyrighted unless otherwise stated and may not be used except as provided in this document without written permission of the Company. The Company neither warrants nor represents that your use of materials displayed on the site will not infringe rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with the company.
The user assumes total responsibility and risk for use of any information contained in YMPS sites YMPS provides web based tools such as monitor unit validation, special physics consultation documentation, Linac QA Log, and equipment inventory log for medical physics and the usage of the pages are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
The services provided by YMPS pages can not be used as a medical advice or used as radiation dose prescription. YMPS only provides only tools for a Medical Physicist and the services can not be used as substitute for a Medical Physicist. The following statements describe the usage of YMPS medical physicist tools and the conditions of use.
- The user should never disregard any of the Treatment Planning System (TPS) parameters because of the use of YMPS services. YMPS only provides tools to assist in validating the treatment plan and results from the YMPS services can not used for patient treatment in any manner.
- The user should never disregard the requirements of a Special Physics Consultation (SPC) notes and YMPS tools only provide a template for the SPC reports and should not be considered as an authorized report. The SPC reports generated by the use of YMPS tools should be proofread and signed as agreed by a Medical Physicist before being used as a patient documentation.
- The user should never disregard the state and federal regulations regulations as well as professional society (AAPM, ICRU, ...) recommendations in performing Quality Assurance (QA) on equipments. YMPS tools only provide assistance in tracking QA dates and times and can not be used as the sole QA tracking log. Detailed documentation of QAs performed must be kept at the institution by the Medical Physicist and YMPS is not responsible for any QA not completed on time or any uncompleted or missing documents.
- The user should never disregard maintaining detailed documentation of the equipment inventory at the institution. YMPS is not responsible for keeping a up to date equipment inventory and YMPS services can not used as evidence of equipments or missing equipments since the equipment inventory is solely maintained by the user.
When using this site, information will be transmitted over a medium which is beyond the control and jurisdiction of YMPS and its suppliers. YMPS assumes no liability for or relating to the delay failure, interruption or corruption of any data or other information in connection with the user of YMPS services.
The YMPS services are provided as an AS IS basis. YMPS or its licensor or its suppliers to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaim all warranties either express or implied statutory or otherwise including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement of thrid parties rights and fitness for particular purpose. YMPS or its licensor's or its suppliers, staff, make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability completeness, timeliness of the content, software, tools, text, graphics, links or communication provided on through the use of YMPS pages.
The users of YMPS sites agree to defend, indemnify and hold YMPS its officers, directors, developers, employees, licensor, suppliers, agents, consultants, and other members of YMPS harmless from and against claims actions or demands liabilities and settlements including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from or alleged to result from the users violation of theses terms and conditions.
In no situation will YMPS be liable for any consequential incidental or indirect damages from the use of YMPS tools. The damages include loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business, and the likes of any loss. YMPS does not endorse or claim validity for the tools or the algorithms used for the tools provided by YMPS. The YMPS services and tools are not a substitute for a Medical Physicist or a Dosimetrist or any other member of the radiation therapy team. The use the YMPS tools assumes that the user understand the limitations of the YMPS services.
While using the YMPS websites, the user may not restrict or inhibit any other user from using YMPS services/tools. The user should not post or transmit any unlawful threatening, abusive defamatory, obscene pornographic profane or otherwise objectionable information of any kind or otherwise violate any local state, national or international law. The user should not post or tranmitt any information or software which knowingly harmful or malicious to YMPS or other users. The user should not post, publish, transmit, reproduce or distribute or any way exploit any information, software, tools, or other material obtained through YMPS sites and services. The user should not transmit or redistribute any information or software or tools that is protected by copyright or other proprietary right. The user should not post, publish or transmit any users own or other users information on other websites or in anyway to give rights to unsubscribed users.
Failure to comply with the terms and conditions will result in denying access to YMPS websites to all part of the services without notice if the user engages in any conduct or activities that YMPS in its sole discretion believes violates any of the terms and conditions of this agreement.
This is the entire agreement between the parties relating to the matters contained herein and shall not be modified except in writing signed by YMPS.
